Have you ever wondered why it’s hard to connect with someone? Have you found it frustrating that you couldn’t build a better bond with a spouse, friend, sibling, or co-worker? Whew, I know I have. And the closer the person ‘should be’ to you, the more frustrating it is when you’re not connecting. In other words, if we’re disconnected from our spouse, that’s going to be way more frustrating and hurtful than not connecting with a co-worker. But nonetheless, when we want that connection and it’s not there, it is frustrating no matter what. Isn’t it?

Communication can be frustrating
One of the most common complaints I hear and the thing that causes the most frustration for people is communication. It’s that inability to communicate your point effectively, which leaves people feeling unheard and misunderstood. Gee, I know I’ve been there, have you? And when that happens it creates that feeling of disconnectedness, a feeling that you’re not as important or valued as you’d like.
